When it comes to my beauty routine, I think it could easily be classified as simple and classic. On most days, the only makeup I’ll wear is a bold lipstick and black mascara. Since my makeup routine normally takes a maximum of five minutes (unless I’m prepping for TV or a shoot), I like products I can rely on to make me look good as fast as possible.
When it comes to lipstick, this means a vibrant matte red that goes on smooth and hardly moves for the entire day. And for my mascara? I want the same thing, for the most part. In terms of colour, I always like it as black as possible, and never want to deal with clumps or those horrid “raccoon eyes” by the afternoon. I also want my lashes to look as long and as fierce as possible – obviously! For my everyday daytime look, I’ll prep lashes with an eyelash curler, then I’ll amp up the drama with an eyeshadow and liquid liner to for an easy day-to-night transition.
Unfortunately, it can actually be difficult to find a mascara that accentuates my naturally long lashes in the right way. I mean, if you got ’em, flaunt ’em – right? But sometimes you need the right products to do that, and not every brush is capable of achieving the long, fluttery gorgeous jet-black lashes that I desire on a daily basis.
That is, until now. I recently discovered the new Revlon All-in-One Mascara in Blackest Black that has revolutionized my relationship with mascara, and my eyelashes.
First of all, this is not your average brush. When I opened it up, I was shocked to find a tiny little brush on the end of the stick. “How do I even use this!?” I wondered, but soon realized the smaller, sleeker brush allows for way more control and individual enhancements of every lash along the entire line of eyelids, both top and bottom. Never before have I felt more comfortable sticking a brush right into the corner of my eyes (thanks to its unique mini oval shape) and actually achieved successfully applying mascara onto even the tiniest of lashes!

Since I truly believe that “less is more”, especially when it comes to makeup, I love that my lashes can now look longer and more noticeable than ever before, while simultaneously looking like I’m wearing less mascara than usual.
