As much as a dirty vodka martini makes me a happy, the disappearance of our polar bears does not. Did you know that scientists predict that as the Arctic continues to warm, two-thirds of the world’s polar bears will disappear within this century? Unfortunately, that’s not something we want to drink to in a celebratory fashion.

February 27th marks International Polar Bear Day and on the first of the month Polar Ice Vodka released a new limited edition bear-less bottle to help support and raise awareness of Polar Bears International’s mission to keep the magic of Canada’s Arctic alive for generations to come.

If you’re a lover of vodka, why not grab a bottle while it’s available between February 1st to 27th, 2017 and help create conversations around how Polar Ice Vodka and Polar Bears International are working to reverse the disappearance of Polar Bears?

In fact, there’s something you can do with a simple LIKE to help donate money directly to the cause. By liking and commenting on the Instagram post I will share on February 27th, 2017, $1 for every engagement (up to $500) will be donated by Polar Ice Vodka to Polar Bears International on National Polar Bear Day.

Are you still curious about how to make that dirty vodka martini that I love so much? See how to make it below, but let’s make this one extra chilled — just as our Polar Bears would prefer it to be.

Extra Chilly Dirty Martini

What You Need:

2 oz Polar Ice Vodka Martini

0.5 oz Dry Vermouth

0.5 oz Olive Brine

What To Do:

  • Fill a cocktail shaker with lots of ice
  • Add all ingredients and shake until very chilled
  • Serve in chilled cocktail glass
  • Garnish with green olives to serve

Remember, for every like, comment or share the up-coming Instagram post receives, Polar Ice Vodka will donate $1 on your behalf to Polar Bears International on February 27th, 2017. I would love your support to reach the $500 cap and get as much funding as possible donated to help Canada’s Polar Bears! Click HERE to follow me today and be ready to double tap for a good cause.

Thank you!!
