Gracie Carroll - Nasty Woman Cocktail with Casamigos, Dillon's Gin, Luxuardo

The U.S. Election has come and gone, and, unfortunately for my friends who are south of the border (as well as everyone around the world), Trump has won.

On the night of the election, I couldn’t sleep and decided – especially after watching the polls as the night went on – that I was in serious need of a serious cocktail. I had recently purchased a bottle of Luxardo to make the Hernandez Cocktail Recipe, and started googling what else I could make using the maraschino cherry liqueur (with what I already had in my home bar) to make something new, and something strong.

What I found was an easy-to-make drink that involved three of my favourite things in life: gin, tequila, and fresh lemon juice. I crawled out of bed right away and headed downstairs to give this new concoction a whirl.

At first sip I discovered what would soon become my new favourite cocktail, and one that I would name the “Nasty Woman” in honour of Hillary Clinton. Us badass babes can most definitely handle a badass cocktail, so if you’re game, be sure to shake this one up and enjoy it as soon as possible. See how to make it below!

Warning: I have become so addicted to this delicious cocktail that I’ve made it almost every night since I first discovered it. Plus, with the decent amount of fresh lemon juice that’s included, I’ve convinced myself it’s going to help me battle any colds this winter. I hope you enjoy this one as much as I do, and, as always, please remember to enjoy responsibly – because this one goes down easy!
