As I’ve got older, my sweet tooth has become almost none-existent. But, there’s something about those gummy, chewy and fruity candies that bring me right back to childhood and I just can’t resist them. Being the “responsible” adult that I am now, I choose to purchase my favourite nostalgic candies from Dare Candy Co for their naturally flavoured ‘Real Jubes’ that are gluten free, gelatin free, peanut free, fat free AND free of artificial colours and flavours. These qualities alone make me feel better about opting for a healthier choice when indulging in a sweet treat, especially when it’s for breakfast on a Monday morning (as I shared on Instagram today). So maybe I’m not always the most responsible adult, but, I mean, at least these jubes are made better, right?
As a Canadian, family-owned company with a 124-year history of providing Canadians with quality products, they know that 62% of Canadians have a sweet tooth, and are bringing a mobile Dare Candy Truck to Toronto, Calgary and Vancouver during June and July of Summer 2016. A truck full of candy riding around town? What could be better!?
I’ve talked before about how much I love that Toronto comes alive in the summer with free programs, events and pop ups. The food truck – and now candy truck – scene plays a big part in all of it, and I don’t want you to miss out on your chance to visit the Dare Candy Truck in Toronto this summer. See below for where to find it in #the6ix throughout the rest of June!
The Dare Candy Truck Toronto Schedule:
· June 14, Blue Jay Game, truck is there 11am-5pm
· June 15, Dundas Square, truck is there 11am-5pm
· June 24, Queen Street West, truck is there 3pm-9pm
Personally, I will be visiting the Dare Candy Truck at Dundas Square on June 15th from 3-5pm and would love for you to join me there! Dare Candy Co has recently joined the Twitter game their new handle @darecandyca so be sure to following along and share your experience at the Dare Candy Truck with the hashtag #DareCandyTruck.
See you there!
