Calling all fashion divas living their best life on a dime: The ERDEM x H&M collection is coming our way and it hits stores (and online) on November 2nd, 2017. The latest designer collaboration from H&M with legendary designer (and celeb fave), ERDEM, is a major win for one of our own homegrown talents. Yup, our boy Erdem Moralioglu was born in Montreal and studied at the Ryerson School of Fashion before crossing the pond to start his eponymous London-based label back in 2005.
The ERDEM x H&M lookbook has just been released, giving us the first glimpse of what we can expect from this highly anticipated and affordable collection for women and men. Staying true to Erdem style, he’s incorporated elements of surprise and surrealism into classic English florals and demure silhouettes; Erdem believes in the power of beauty, exploring historical references and personal narratives in every piece he makes. Shot by acclaimed photographer Michal Pudelka, the photos showcase the brand’s British roots with gorgeous peacoats and cozy knit sweaters.
“It was such a pleasure to see how Michal translated the mood of the collection and I love how we played with different elements, such as the flowers, to enhance the spirit of ERDEM x H&M even more,” says Erdem.
The ERDEM collection for H&M includes tailored outerwear, ladylike yet romantic dresses, animal prints and florals. Not to mention handbags, rhinestone encrusted jewelry, shoes, hosiery, and, of course, and entire range for men too.
