FILLER Magazine‘s TIFF’11 pre-screening party for the movie, Lovely Molly, may have all come together at the very last hour but we still had a great event in the end! Considering I was nose deep in invites, interns, emails and who knows what else up until minutes before the party, I’m surprised I’m still standing in the photo above.
To be honest, I didn’t know much about the movie except for the fact that it was by the Blair Witch guy, and the poster freaked me out (I don’t like scary movies). But when the star of the movie walked in, one thing I knew for sure was that I had seen her face before. Not in an around town kind of way, but in one of my favourite movies of all time: Drop Dead Gorgeous.
Yes, that’s me next to Alexandra Holden, who played the anorexic ex-American Teen Princess who delivers the unforgettable performance of ‘Don’t Cry Out Loud’ while being pushed in a wheelchair. Don’t know what I’m talking about? See below and change your life for the better.
