The arrival of warm and sunny weather this season has been a bit of a tease — at least here in Toronto — but here’s to hoping that the arrival of the Beth Richards Swimwear pop-up on Queen West can bring some summer time inspo to the 6ix!
I’ve been a huge fan of Vancouver-based swimwear designer, Beth Richards, for years now, and I couldn’t be more excited to get to shop her sexy, stylish and super fierce designs in person here in Toronto.
In case you are new to her beautiful brand, the Beth Richards pop-up is open now at 913 Queen Street West until June 14th, and, trust me, you’re gonna want EVERYTHING.
The SS17 and Resort 17 collections feature minimal yet modern designs with trendy details like ruffles, mesh inserts and a high cut leg. Obviously I’ve already got my eye on her black and white high-waisted leopard print bottoms featured on the model in the photo above.
Although her pieces might be on the higher end of what you might be used to paying for a swimsuit, it’s key to remember Beth’s pieces are all Made in Canada from fabric that is Italian and specially engineered for athletes — boasting superior stretch and durability as well as 50+ UVB Protection!
Also if you happen to be into calculating your cost-per-wear price to help justify a purchase (as I am), do keep in mind that these pieces are stylish enough to be worn well beyond the beach or the pool all year round.
For more information on Beth’s line, visit her website at BethRichards.com and if you can’t make it to the Toronto pop-up in person, you can always shop her line from some of her major retailers that include Shopbop, Garmentory, Revolve, Net-a-Porter, and more!
