A Toronto fave, Momofuku Daisho is Momofuku’s take on a steakhouse with burgers, steaks, salads and amazing seafood on the menu! The menu is constantly changing based on what’s in season so make sure you get in ASAP¬†to try it out.¬†Their Summerlicious menu sounds seriously delish with their grilled zucchini with black garlic and¬†strawberry shortcake dessert with goat yogurt.¬†Don’t let daisho¬†pass you by! Our favourite super-chic BBQ¬†restaurant, The Carbon Bar is known for turning out classic US dishes with a unique spin. Their Summerlicious menu is all about brisket with coleslaw and we imagine that their¬†eggplant tacos are everything that’s¬†missing from all of our¬†lives! ($38 Dinner)

Restaurant¬†that’s¬†known for super fresh and expertly prepared seafood, along with¬†a¬†stellar cocktail menu.¬†lbs. Restaurant is turning out dishes like cured tuna with dill and rainbow trout with farro in a parsley broth¬†for Summerlicious and we’re definitely planning to stay¬†for dessert with housemade crullers on the menu! Their Summerlicious ’17 menu is bright, colourful and fresh which is exactly what summer-dining should be all about. Using ingredients that epitomize summer like corn, peaches, heirloom tomatoes and radishes, this is one meal we can’t wait to have! ($38 Dinner)

With influences coming straight from the UK, it’s hard to resist the Summerlicious menu at Weslodge.¬†This refined saloon is¬†sophisticated but relaxed with warm lighting, dark wood accents and comfy leather booths to sink into. We can’t wait to dive into their scotch egg with truffled red onion jam (OMG!) and for dessert we want it all with their sticky toffee pud, banoffee pie and strawberry trifle.¬†We’ll take one of EVERYTHING,¬†please! One of our favourites, Colette Grand¬†Caf√© is the epitome of French glamour and serious¬†sophistication! The atmosphere is bright, modern and the decor is serious #goals.¬†We’re super into their lamb tartare with green harissa and their carrot juice cavatelli with peas and turmeric (it’s vegan too BTW!) Leave room for dessert we’re pretty sure you’ll¬†need to try¬†the cherry clafoutis and summer fruit pavlova.¬†($28 Lunch | $48 Dinner)

PARTS & LABOUR

This Parkdale institution, Parts & Labour is known for haute cuisine in a cool and uncomplicated atmosphere.¬†Chef Matty Matheson‘s delicious pairings are stellar with octopus escabeche with red chilies and crunchy taro chips, along with the spice cured pork tenderloin with green bean relish. ¬†($38 Dinner)

FRANK

Found next to¬†the AGO (Art Gallery of Ontario), Frank ¬†might be in an unexpected location¬†but that’s no reason to overlook the delicious fare you’ll find there. Their Summerlicious menu offers up a pork terrine with johnnycakes and a house-made mustard that we can’t wait to try! Did we mention¬†their za’atar roasted eggplant¬†with¬†vegan walnut yogurt and coriander pur√©e? ($23 Lunch | $38 Dinner)

ROSE & SONS

Inspired by the relationship shared by land and sea, Toronto’s Lee¬†restaurant by Chef Susur Lee is known as one of the top restaurants in the city. Also owned by the celebrity chef¬†is¬†Luckee and¬†Fring’s, which happens to be¬†co-owned by¬†our boy Drake! We LIVE¬†for Lee’s cheeseburger spring rolls and the signature Singaporean style slaw; this is sure to be a meal that will be the highlight of your summer! ($48 Dinner)

As the signature restaurant at the Shangri-La Hotel, Bosk is luxury at it’s finest with their¬†menu¬†boasting the freshest produce and their kitchen turning out delicious cuisine with¬†an Asian flair. We love how they utilize simple ingredients in not-so-simple ways like making a foam out of honey lager for their broccoli soup! One of Chef Mark McEwan‘s most beloved restaurants, Bymark is seriously one of the Financial District’s best dining spots.¬†Boasting classic contemporary cuisine, you know you can expect only the best¬†in service and¬†fresh¬†ingredients.
